Middlemore Hospital is a large and progressive tertiary teaching hospital in South Auckland and provides an ideal environment for the training of motivated pharmacy graduates interested in pursuing a career in hospital pharmacy.
We are unique in terms of the diverse population we serve and the associated range of health issues we see on a daily basis. This makes Counties Manukau an exceptional training ground for a pharmacy graduate to become a well-rounded and competent clinical pharmacist. Our pharmacy service has also been frequently recognised as an award-winning provider of innovative and patient-centred care.
You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from a number of highly skilled clinical pharmacists and be involved with pharmacists making valuable contributions to the care of patients in a multidisciplinary team. You will also have the opportunity to work within a number of specialities, experience new technologies and models of care in pharmacy, and be a part of our quality and safety focused pharmacy team.
We have 2 fixed term (12 months) Intern Pharmacist positions for 2021 at Middlemore Hospital to provide the opportunity for pharmacy graduates to undertake pre-registration training.
