We an opportunity for an administration professional to join our team on a fixed term contract until end of December 2020, providing support to two sites. It is an important role, delivering high quality, efficient and proactive administrative support to our team.
About the role
The role provides support to two sites, Kaikohe and Kawakawa. Four days are based in Kaikohe and one day based in Kawakawa per week. Flexibility to travel between these sites is essential.
In this busy and varied role you will provide reception cover, greeting members of the public, staff, visitors and other guests as the first point of entry to the office. In addition to reception cover you are also responsible for coordinating meeting rooms, fleet management, video conferencing equipment, visitor car parks and MSD pool car booking requests. You also provide other ad-hoc administration support services as required.
A large part of this role will be supporting the Service Centre Manager to ensure health &
safety compliance is met and maintained. This includes documenting procedures and keeping manuals up-to-date in line with Ministry guidelines.
You are a team player who works well under pressure. A busy environment is where you thrive and you pride yourself on delivering customer service. No task is too big or too small, you take everything in your stride and get things done.
Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
Proven expertise supporting a medium to large team in an administrative capacity
Experience maintaining and improving office systems
Exceptional relationship building skills ? you enjoy meeting people from varied backgrounds
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Full NZ Driver\ 's Licence and ability to drive Ministry vehicles as required.
