Who we?re looking for We are seeking for a talented individual to join our successful New Zealand Applications Team. This is a full time permanent role based in the fast-paced, New market, Auckland location. Do you have a genuine passion and interest in IT technologies? You will be expected to maintain and improve performance of HealthLink?s applications and services across multiple environments. You will be involved with many phases of the software development life cycle, from influencing the design of new services to troubleshooting production outages. Maintaining production applications will always be the main priority, but you will have a chance to do some R&D and test your innovative ideas for improvement in the safety of pre-production. You will be deeply involved in the core maintenance of HealthLink?s service offerings:
configuring, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining the internal and external IT services. Effective communication and collaboration with the Infrastructure Team, other internal teams and with external customers will be essential. The primary focus for this position will be your ability to identify problems and implement initiatives to improve all aspects of service delivery. Requirements The ideal candidate will have been involved in the support and maintenance of a variety of IT technologies, have a genuine passion and aptitude for IT, and will be highly motivated to learn new skills. People with a positive attitude and strong work ethic will thrive in this close-knit team environment. Strong troubleshooting skills are essential. To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 2 -3 years' experience in IT, ideally in a service industry with the following skills:
Infrastructure technologies such as VMware, vRealize orchestration Familiar with tolls such as Docker, Bamboo, etc Excellent Linux & Windows skills Excellent Bash & Powershell knowledge Comfortable with Atlassian Bamboo & GIT Elastic & SQL Basic coding & scripting skills You would also need to be available to participate in an on-call roster after initial training.
