Architect (2 permanent roles)
Do you want to be part of a small architecture team with an active role in making a difference for New Zealanders? Post-COVID, tertiary education will play a lead part in New Zealand\ 's response, and we will be right there supporting it. In this role you can help shape our technology direction and be part of this change.
The Tertiary Education Commission\ 's (TEC) mission is to ensurethat all New Zealanders are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need for life long achievement. TEC invests $3.2 billion annually in the tertiary education system and has a lead role in supporting career development of people in New Zealand.
Within a team of three architects we have new vacancies for two experienced architects to support our wide-ranging programme of work.
What will you be doing?
Helping your stakeholders create solutions to their business needs as we move towards our target state.
Providing architectural leadership to project teams.
Helping us plan and deliver the next phase of our cloud journey.
What can you bring?
Great communication skills ? able to engage with senior business stakeholders.
Excellent relationship management skills ? you can work well a diverse range of stakeholders.
Creative spark ? someone who is comfortable with open discussions because that\ 's how we get the best results.
Broad architecture skills in several domains as well as depth in at least one key enterprise area. We already have an architect with great data management, data warehousing and analytics experience so ideally you\ 'll complement their skills.
Some experience with enterprise architecture would also be helpful.
