Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
To provide IQP inspections and building certification services to building owners and managers as required under the Building Act 2004 or subsequent versionsTo provide building inspections and consultancy services as required by clientsTo work at all times in accordance with SGS Quality system procedures and to review and provide new procedures where necessaryTo actively seek new business, provide quotations to building managers for such and to secure contracts for the businessTo work with the business manager to grow the IQP business on a local and National basisTo ensure all work is completed, reports / certificates issued are correct and invoices issued in a timely mannerTo work with the business manager to maximise business returns whilst minimising exposure and risk for the companyTo ensure all activities are carried out with regard and recognition of Health and Safety requirements and personal safety
Qualifications
Required Skills
Good interpersonal skills
Skills in written and verbal reporting
A minimum of five years of experience as an IQP
Trade Qualifications in any of electrical, mechanical, HVAC or fire industry preferable
Understanding of NZ Building Act, Codes and Regulations
Unrestricted New Zealand Driver Licence
Current IQP Registrations are preferred
Is able to use computers and related technologies efficientlyAdditional Informationnull
