About the role:
This role will require you to work alongside other members of the Operations Support Team to provide immediate specialist support and logistical services to Officers operating with the Road, Rail and Marine environment. These officers ensure the team are providing a quality service by monitoring interactions, transmissions and compliance with process changes across the Compliance and Facilities support areas and provide competency assessments and audit results through to the supervisory team monthly for coaching conversations.
Key Responsibilities:
Work alongside the Supervisors to assist and mentor those who have a first point of contact to provide resources (fleet, radios, technology etc) and information required to undertake enforcement activity and respond to customer requests.
Demonstrate understanding any legislative requirements and the enforcement powers each officer holds to enable an efficient response to Compliance issues.
Actively capturing and reviewing evidence and statutory declarations, missing infringement notices and administering the support processes for Compliance Units across Transport Ops.
Undertaking enforcement remotely whenever possible to best deploy field Officers to areas otherwise required.
What we look for:
Minimum of 5 years\ ' experience in a customer facing role preferably in a regulatory environment
Auditing and quality assessment in an operational (preferably regulatory) environment
Experienced mentoring and training in an ever changing 24/7 environment
Understanding of working within maritime, rail, road environments preferred
Proven experience in communication skills, both written and oral
Experience using computer applications, for example Outlook, Word, Excel, Parking Systems and CRM systems
Experience using GPS technology and virtual tracking preferred in a Video Management System
