POSITION DESCRIPTION

Coordinator Waste Water
Reports To:
Manager Infrastructure Delivery
Hours of work:
Full-Time, Permanent
Purpose of the Role:
To coordinate the work programmes and tactical framework under the Waste
Water portfolio, incorporating Sewer, Stormwater, Drainage and Trade Waste.

Maintain the statutory requirements and standards to ensure environmental compliance.
Maintain appropriate contract documentation of all waste water systems.

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering,
Construction Management or related
Technical discipline.
Demonstrate knowledge of engineering,
Construction, maintenance and operation
Of Council utilities and services.
Demonstrate competencies in risk
Assessment, design development,
Scheduling, cost estimating, technical
Specifications and H&
S systems.
Demonstrate procurement experience in
The tendering and administration of
Consultant engagements and large
Construction contracts in accordance with
NZS3910.
Demonstrate experience in a similar role

Demonstrate knowledge of Waste Water
Supplies, including reticulation and
Treatment processes, compliance and
Public health standards and legislation.

Knowledge of NZS 4404:

Competence in the reading of design plans
