Seeking two permanent full-time Engineers for our Service Desk!

Do you love learning and applying new technologies, as well as seeking continuous improvement opportunities to make your organisation a better place?Then we may have the perfect role for you as one of the Service Desk Engineers in our ICT Operations team.Te W?nanga o Aotearoa, a leading provider of Tertiary Education across Aotearoa, is currently recruiting for Engineers ? Service Operations to provide front-line IT advice and support to the organisation?s technology users (staff and students) and resolve IT requests.Duties for this role include responding to all requests for technical assistance predominantly by phone and email, with some onsite support required.You will be responsible for:
Diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues
Improving service outcomes through service management processes
Delivering on-site technical training as required, and
Supporting IT asset management in the delivery and installation of hardwareApplicants will have Diploma Computing Level 5 (or related field), and/or be a Microsoft Certified Professional, have at least two years? experience in an IT service desk or remote support role and hold a full New Zealand driver?s licence (Class 1). It would be an advantage if you have had experience working within a multi-site IT environment. Excellent relationship management skills, written and oral communication skills, planning and project/task management skills are needed for this role along with knowledge of Microsoft products including Office365, Active directory, Powershell, and a sound understanding of IT service management and technology concepts.
An understanding of basic te reo M?ori phrases, mihi and greetings and of M?ori values, culture and tikanga would be an advantage.
