General Manager Manufacturing
In this position you will lead all aspects of manufacturing and engineering operations, and have oversight for the process of bought-in finished goods for the group.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and leading a team of over 160 direct and indirect reports, this is an exceptional opportunity for a proven performer. This role is the strategic lead for the manufacturing and engineering operations of Vitaco New Zealand. You will also oversee the process of bought-in finished goods for the group.

This role is commercial;
as GM Manufacturing youwill drive cost-consciousness throughout the business, identify new business opportunities and improvements, monitor financial activities including substantial monthly cost of goods, and manage a large product portfolio.
You will also lead business as usual activities for manufacturing and engineering, ensuring production and maintenance requirements are achieved while driving health and safety, quality and regulatory compliance in your team. You will conduct reporting and analysis to make strategic and operational decisions, and play a strong role in the development of the capital investment budget.

7-10 years? experience in managing large site or multi-site manufacturing operations with responsibility for $100m+ cost of goods (FMCG experience strongly preferred)
Extensive knowledge of LEAN/KAIZEN manufacturing practices
Demonstrated robust financial and commercial acumen
Tertiary qualifications in business or another related field
