Kai?whina (Tutor Assistant) | Te Ara Reo M?ori (TARM) Level 2
Fixed Term | Until 18 December 2020
Part time | 15 hrs per week

We invite applications from passionate and energetic individuals to assist in the delivery of our Te Ara Reo M?ori (TARM) programs in Auckland at our Manukau campus.
You will be proactive and supportive in a wh?nau based environment. You will assist the Kaiako in preparing resources and classrooms, monitoring student attendance, providing student support if needed, general administration tasks and student recruitment. Working some evenings and weekends are required.
Ideally you will:
Have a School leavers certificate
Hold a Certificate in Te Reo M?ori Level 4
Be fluent in Te Reo M?ori
Have at least one years experience in a similar role
Have intermediate ability and knowledge of Tikanga and ?huatanga
Experience in a learning environment would be an advantage and playing the guitar would also be an advantage.
Ideally, you will need to be able to speak Te Reo M?ori confidently and conversationally. If you do not hold the relevant qualifications as listed above, Te W?nanga o Aotearoa will be committed to assist you in your professional development for the role.
