Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand\ 's largest school. We providepersonalised and authentic learning programmes through distance education from early childhood level to NCEA Level 3, including young adult and adult learners.

The Southern region is seeking a Kaiako Matua (English) who would like to be part of our leadership team working together to continue to transform teaching and learning using blended and integrated approaches to learning. This role can be based in our offices in Christchurch, Nelson or Dunedin.
It is essential that you have a sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and assessment requirements and are willing to learn, innovate, work collaboratively and build effective relationships. There will be opportunities to engage with students through our regional advisories and event days.
A full induction and support programme is available along with opportunities to engage with curriculum leaders and subject senior teachers located across regions.
You\ 'll be future orientated and understand how the use of technology, together with your enthusiasm, vision and commitment improves education outcomes for all our students, M?ori and Pacific learners in particular. Key dispositions that we are seeking include:

Sound knowledge of NZ Curriculum and experience in teaching the stated curriculum area across different levels of learning
