What You Will DoAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer (Teaching &
Administration) to provide effective teaching and directed research services with a secondary sector focus. In particular, the appointee will be required to prepare, deliver and appropriately assess relevant courses. You will be proficient in teaching and developing pedagogical practice and have expertise in the secondary sector related area informed by recent developments in research/scholarship/creative work and/or their own professional practise.
Who You AreTo be the successful candidate you will have:
A Postgraduate qualification relevant to the field of Teacher Education:
Master\ 's Degree or equivalent
ANZ teacher registration and the ability to teach and mentor students
Experience in teaching topics relevant to Teacher Education
Knowledge in developing course curricula
The capacity to work positively in a multi-disciplinary environment with a commitment to collegiality
Knowledge of, and the ability to integrate into teaching, e-learning and other information technologies is preferable
The ability to demonstrate an understanding of multicultural issues and to display a commitment to principles of the Treaty of Waitangi (or a willingness to acquire such an understanding)
