Privately owned, we are one of New Zealand\ 's greatest pharmaceutical success stories and we are currently looking for an experienced Machine Operator for our afternoon shift (Monday - Friday, 3.45 pm to 11.45 pm).
About the role
Our Machine Operator (Packing) packs prescription medicines that are exported around the world. Working to cGMP standards and following relevant Standard Operating Procedures, this is a specialised role that includes:
Setting up tooling, operating, cleaning and monitoring of automated production machinery to ensure production meets world class standards.
Adjusting machine settings to the required packaging specifications.
Conducting in-process checks (IPCs) on the production line to ensure consistent quality of product.
Conducting routine checks of equipment to ensure it is safe and fit for use.
Completing records and system entries.
What we\ 're looking for
Prior experience in a cGMP production environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and process engineering skills.
Preferably experience in machine setting and troubleshooting.
You will be a strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills and a quality mind-set.
A good level of physical fitness as some heavy manual work may be required.
Your strong mechanical aptitude and sound problem-solving skills will help to ensure that things run smoothly.
