Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland City has a vacancy for a Part Time General Maintenance Handy Person, approximately 30 hours per week.
About You:
A background in general repairs and maintenance ? carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, air conditioning filters etc. All round handyman.

Honest and reliable in attendance
Looking for a work-life balance, could suit a semi-retired builder etc, seeking working hours between 10am-4pm, Monday to Friday
The Job:
Completing a check of all hotel rooms and identifying areas that require maintenance to be completed
Liaising with the hotel departments regarding maintenance issues to be completed and taking the appropriate action to rectify
Attending guest requests such as tuning televisions, fixing leaking taps and adjusting air conditioning
Plastering of walls and general painting, when required
Attending to air conditioning/heating issues, when required
Minor plumbing work, when required
Ensuring the Maintenance Workshop is kept clean, tidy and with appropriate stock levels
Guiding and assisting external contractors around the hotel
This is a part time position of approximately 30 hours per week and reports directly to the General Manager.
