We are looking for a permanent, full time Manager ? Business Development to join the Innovation Development Group at Te Ahik?makos Centre in Hamilton.
About the role:
The primary function of the Business Development Manager is to drive new innovation and commercial opportunities that grow diversified revenue streams, enhance organisational reputation, and strategic positioning within existing and new markets building towards a more sustainable business model.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
Identifying, sourcing, developing and progressing new start-up enterprises, innovations, and business development opportunities that achieve revenue growth
Negotiating business agreements and commercialising opportunities
Providing quality market research, analysis, and informed business rationale and recommendations
Creating project, resource, communication and risk mitigation plans
Developing and ensuring commercial and financial modelling and budgets meet profit expectations
Transitioning the successful project into an operational space
About you:
You have a Degree in Business or related field with 5+ years? experience in business or a relevant field and strong project management experience
You have proven skills and success in identifying, sourcing, developing and progressing new business development opportunities
You excel at establishing and maintaining strong and meaningful strategic relationships with key stakeholders
You have a good understanding of ?huatanga M?ori and an understanding of basic te reo M?ori
You have a full NZ Drivers Licence
