CERT NZ works to support businesses, organisations and individuals who are affected (or may be affected) by cyber security incidents. We provide trusted and authoritative information and advice, while also collating a profile of the threat landscape in New Zealand.
CERT NZ\ 's primary goal is to improvecyber security in New Zealand, which means:
Increased comprehension of the threat landscape
Better avoidance of incidents, and
Reducing the impact of incidents.
Reporting to the Director in CERT NZ, the Manager, Engagement, Communications and Partnerships will have business ownership and owns the development of the CERT NZ channel strategy to ensure it meets CERT NZ and constituent needs.
The role will lead a team who is responsible for the strategic approach and management of CERT NZ\ 's domestic and internationalstakeholder engagement and partnership programmes, internal and external communications, communication channels.
The Manager, Engagement, Communications and Partnerships will also have ownership of the development of a marketing and communications strategy contributing to CERT NZ\ 's overarching goals including raising awareness of cyber security impacts, best practice and of the CERT itself.
To be successful in this position you will have the following skills and experience:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A proven track record of experience and achievement in the strategic management of external relationships, internal and external communications, communication channels
Significant experience representing the ?public face? for an organisation and building relationships with senior stakeholders.
Wide ranging knowledge of media, communications and stakeholder engagement disciplines and processes including latest development in communications practices.
Extensive experience in managing the design and delivery of written media, external and internal communication material.
A demonstrated ability to take a strategic approach to media management, internal communications and public information practices.
