Hanmer Springs, CanterburyThe Heritage Hotel, is a 4. 5 star hotel in the beautiful tourist and alpine resort of Hanmer Springs, North Canterbury. We are looking for a responsible, self-motivated professional to join our Front Office team. In this unsupervised role you will oversee the running of the hotel during the night shift, including managing the security and safety of the hotel and its guests and upholding Liquor License responsibilities. You will also be accountable for the computer network, phone systems and take financial responsibility for the hotel during the night shift

Key Responsibilities:
responsible for the hotel and guests overnight reviewing all daily sales transactions and report variances audit balance and consolidate ledger accounts producing revenue and tracking reports preparing operating and end of day reports handling phone enquiries and reservations preparing and delivering light meals for room service key skills required for this role include:
2+ years' experience in a similar position a good understanding of accounting practices excellent numerical skills a high level of integrity good computer skills essential/preferably experience with fidelio outstanding customer service and telephone skills ability to multi-task and to cope under pressure a willingness to work night shifts - 5 nights a week over a 7 day rostered week excellent time management, organisational & administrative skills a current general manager's certificate we provide:
