Electrix Limited is also one of New Zealand\ 's foremost electrical construction and maintenance companies and provides a wide range of services to the power, electricity, gas, industrial and commercial sectors.
We seek the services of a Planner ? Customer Services to provide a work planning service with responsibility of effective planning and execution within the Customer Services Business Unit. The successful candidate will report to the Field Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Compile job packs for projects to meet all company, client and statutory requirements
Assist Project Manager in preparing Project Management quality plans, documentation and project communication
Plan and schedule resources to execute reactive or planned works in collaboration with the Field Operations Manager, Project Managers and Technical Coordinators
Order materials, equipment and relevant documentation and ensure they are available to meet the work schedule
Collate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, as required
Prepare sub-contractor agreements in collaboration with the Project Manager
Invoice and conduct quality assurance checks of completed job packs in collaboration with the Field Operations Manager and Project Manager
Assist the Field Operations Manager in notifying landowners or relevant visits and works to be carried out
Assist in controlling project documentation and quality assurance processes
Ensure the company\ 's and site procedures for Safety, Environment and Quality performance are implemented and maintained
Prepare documentation for Field Operations Manager/Project Manager\ 's reporting on month end jobstatus and financials
Conduct site visits and safety audits, as required
Support the Field Operations Manager and Customer Services team in the delivery of projects
Key Attributes:
Knowledge of the Electricity Industry
Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task
Ability to solve problems from process point of view without impacting workflow
Understanding of financial management of jobs is preferred
Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with staff and customers at all levels
Advanced computer skills, SAP knowledge will be beneficial
Project Management qualification or appropriate project administration experience
This position is based in Silverdale. Attractive rates of pay are available commensurate with experience, together with an attractive superannuation (conditions apply) and company funded medical insurance. Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
