Programme Senior Communications Advisor

Our Network Design and Capabilities team are looking for a Senior Communications Advisor to join the team on a permanent basis. This role is responsible for delivery of change and tactical communications plus supporting the Programme team with stakeholder engagement and management. Working with the Programme Communication Lead this role will develop informative, engaging and vibrant content which reflects the purpose and values of NZ Post and work collaboratively with leaders right across the organisation to create effective and measurable internal and external communications. The breath of this role is broad as it covers delivery of internal and external communications material and support media relations, Government Relations, and customer engagement.
To be successful in this role some key skills and attributes are required, these include:
A relevant tertiary qualification and training (e.G. communications, journalism, marketing).
Proven delivery capability in internal and external communications
Experience leading change communications, including knowledge of the communications approaches, tools and techniques that support people and leaders through the change process
A strong reputation for collaborative working relationships and achievement through partnerships
Solutions focussed and a drive to deliver results
Strong presentation and oral and written communication skills
