About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant to join our Research and Development group that has a reputation for innovation. This position is responsible for creating opportunities for LIC\ 's customers through technically sound and innovative research.
You key focuses would be:
Developing and maintaining technical expertise in laboratory techniques, technologies and statistical analysis
Analysing complex technical data and reporting results back to the wider team
Assisting with research projects and evaluation of new diagnostics products. This will include trial design, completing research protocols, maintaining detailed documentation of trial and summarising research results appropriately.
We are seeking someone with a relevant qualification such as Bachelor of Science and/or proven laboratory experience. The ideal candidate will have a great attention to detail, strong communication skills, both written and oral, to enable them to work effectively in a project team with a wide range of people.
This person will have a strong focus on personal development to enable them to maintain a high standard of expertise and ability to continually contribute to the R&
D team\'s success.
