Senior Store Person
To grow the Company though managing both inward and outward stock movement whilst maintaining accuracy and integrity of the store/s inventory records, under direction, including all associated documentation and recording keeping for accounting
Duties and Responsibility:
creating) purchase orders and recording goods inwards / outwards using Unleashed software.
Ensure checks to verify stock levels for re-ordering are accurate and appropriate.
To take delivery of goods delivered into stores, with the use of forklifts where required.
Ensure that goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and check for damages and quantity.
Update computer system to enable accurate stock levels
Put materials away in stores after deliveries in a FIFO order
To get materials out ready for collection by courier and logistics company and for the issuing to jobs, using the IT equipment provided
Follow SOPs and work in an organized manner &
prioritising the most pressing tasks at hand
Keep stores clean, tidy, and organized while being able to access products to dispatch in a timely manner.
Keep a log of breakages and submit for reimbursement
Be willing and able to lift 20kg with ease and 65kg with assistance.
Ensure our internal and external customers receive a courteous service
Make deliveries to and collections from various locations within the company (Auckland) geographical area and further afield where necessary to external customers and suppliers
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials onto vehicles and assisting colleagues in this task where necessary
Ensure, all materials are secure in the vehicles to enable safe transportation and to avoid any loss or damage
Have good knowledge of the Auckland geographical area and the roads around the area
Keep the warehouse clean and tidy to include perimeter checks as necessary
Manage the skips on site, ensuring that materials are correctly disposed of in the appropriate skips to maximize recycling possibilities. Notify skip company when skips require emptying.
Be an ambassador for the Company at all times (on and off duty), ensuring service is professional both in behaviour and appearance
Be courteous to other suppliers, remembering that it is a small community
Assist company Management with any ad hoc duties required
Ensure any feedback obtained from customers is returned to the employer for follow up
Ensure compliance with the company policies and standards at all times (e.G. timekeeping, professionalism, customer service)
Be willing and able to travel for duties required by the employer, including but not limited to, events, festivals, general Company business
