Our Development Chapter is leading the charge in developing new and emerging technologies and are now on the hunt for experienced Tech Leads to provide technical development leadership, enabling the team deliver great user centric experiences through the development of web and mobile applications. Reporting to the Chapter Lead - Development, this hands-on role will see you getting in to the depths of code, whilst working closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners and Solution Architects to establish project timelines and ensure resources are appropriately distributed. You will be a key player in driving DevOps practices, investigating new technologies and ensuring the extension and maintenance of existing applications with quality control of coding standards and frameworks. To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:
A minimum 8years' experience in a technical leadership position in a complex service driven industry. Knowledge of mobile, web and API development with at least a few of the following technologies - Node. Js, React, C#, Android, iOS, Kubernetes and Docker. A passion for DevOps and practices like TDD/BDD, build automation, CI/CD, code quality metrics etc. Understanding of the entire application stack, deep and broad knowledge, and significant exposure to application development industry standards and practices. Significant experience in developing customer facing applications. Exposure to Agile ways of working. This is a cross-functional role which will see you working with a wide range of individuals from your direct team, the Digital and New Services team, the wider business and external providers. You must be a confident communicator, easily able to build rapport with a diverse range of people, provide appropriate feedback where necessary, and be flexible and adaptable within an ever-changing agile environment.
