This is a permanent full time position. Reporting to the Works Manager, you will:
Provide on the job assistance and support to qualified trade personnel for project and maintenance related works. Execute specific trade activities in a safe, effective and efficient manner. To be successful our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
Trade qualification or proven equivalent experience. Current First Aid and CPR training an advantage. Proven ability to work with skilled or trade staff. General trades skills i. E., building, welding, yard maintenance, general plant and equipment maintenance. Be physically fit and able to work comfortably at heights. Have the ability to lift and carry heavy objects. Able to complete required forms and documents both written and computer based. Have competent computer skills. Hold current unrestricted Manual NZ Driver Licence with Heavy Traffic. Wheels, Tracks & Rollers Licences or Certificates (eg Class 2) an advantage. The Horizon Energy Group takes pride in its commitment to the health and safety of all its stakeholders.
