Kordia has more than 200 communications sites and supporting infrastructure covering the full length and breadth of NZ.Our people are very proud to work with us and every employee has a meaningful role to play in our success.The role reports into the Head of Operations and is responsible for the strategic oversight, planning and management of all Kordia Networks and Infrastructure assets. This includes responsibility for the management and co-ordination of asset procurement, deployment, refresh, replacement and retirement of assets throughout their life-cycle.We want to ensure that Kordia maintains a resilient and reliable network and supporting infrastructure so that our products and services operate in the most optimal, efficient and uninterrupted way.To this end, we are seeking a proficient expert to manage and lead the development and continuous improvement of Kordia Networks asset management program, framework, and systems.Key duties include:
Development, implementation and delivery of Asset Management governance, systems, processes and measurements to effectively manage the asset portfolio with regards to reliability, resilience, cost, control, risk, compliance and business performance objectives.
Scoping and prioritising asset investments, including development of long-term investment profiles substantiated by appropriate detailed planning and prioritisation outputs.
Ensuring compliance with vendor contracts by carrying out effective planning and monitoring for assets and licenses.
Assessing and managing risks associated with asset portfolio.
Working closely with the Operations team on the maintenance and testing programmes for all Networks and Infrastructure assets
To be successful in the role, you will need:
Tertiary qualification in information technology, engineering, business management or equivalent related discipline
Substantial previous experience in an Asset Manager role
Experience in Project and Program Management
Experience leading a team (preferable)
Great relationship management skills, great commercial acumen and a collaborative working style
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong planning, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
Ability to prioritise and operate proactively
Ability to work collaboratively within and across teams
Great communication and ability to deliver an exceptional Kordia Experience
