We are seeking a Contract Coordinator to join the Gas Metering team of our Gas Maintenance and Capital Works Business Unit. Based in Albany, the key purpose of this position is to co-ordinate the work schedules, key operations and processes for the contract team to maximise the functional and efficient operation of the contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Applying effective organisational and administrative processes to support the contract team
Assisting Contract Manager and Project Supervisors with day to day management of contract to facilitate delivery of required contractual obligations.
Working with field staff and Contract Managers on improving compliance to company policies and procedures.
Assisting Contract Manager with development of Contract Management Plans and the regular reviewing of plans ensuring documents are up to date.
Monitoring task/work productivity against contract maintenance programme.
Liaising with and coordinating subcontractors and their contract arrangements.
Controlling contract documentation and quality assurance processes ? ITP\ 's.
Carrying out site inductions, site controls, and compliance with site QSE procedures
Controlling and managing job variations with supervisors and main contractors.
Administering productivity targets, using labour monitors and staffing level forecasts, which are completed and forwarded to Contract Manager monthly.
Assisting the Contract Manager with the tracking and reporting of KPIs.
Ensuring the company\ 's and site procedures for Safety, Environment and Quality performance are implemented and maintained.
Education, Technical Knowledge and Skills Required:
3-4 years relevant experience, including significant project co-ordination in a complex environment.
A current New Zealand Gas Industry Certificate of Competency
Knowledge of gas metering maintenance and construction
Sound computer skills and experience, Microsoft Office and scheduling software
Able to write fairly complex reports.
A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements.
