Head Of Financial Planning And Analysis
We are looking for a highly motivated and strategic Financial Planning &
Analysis Manager to drive a new focus and approach to business planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and understanding of business performance across the business. This role will work closely with the CFO, Executive and Finance teams to support the implementation of Group strategy and ensure that business performance can be assessed against appropriate KPI and operational metrics. Reporting into the CFO your key responsibilities are:
Coordinating, reviewing, and analysing the group budgeting and forecasting processes, with a focus on process improvement and providing value-added analysis and support in relation to the forecasts, working closely with finance business partners and executive management.
Leading the monthly business performance review process with finance business partners across the group, making recommendations and where appropriate implementing business improvement opportunities.
Preparing monthly and ad hoc reports for executive management and the board.
Introducing, improving and analysing the group\ 's financial and non-financial KPI\ 's in association with corporate and business unit management.
Driving process improvement across various finance processes, including (for example) cashflow forecasting.
Providing support to the CFO and executive management on ad hoc projects across the group including commercial analysis of commercial proposals, Treasury, investment decision-making, M&
A and investor relations.
Managing and optimising across the group the use of existing BI capabilities.
Managing and developing a high performing team (currently team of 2) and contributing to development/engagement of the broader Finance team.
You will have:
Strong commercial professional or accountant experience, with financial planning, business performance and analysis experience.
Experience of working in a Technology or Professional Services business (desirable).
Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, IFRS and procedures.
Experience with preparing financial statements in a complex group.
Experience of working in a listed company environment.
Able to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and international environment.
Deep analytical skills complemented by strong strategic and commercial acumen.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and be comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.
