Auckland City, AucklandPermanentAt Alpha Recruitment, we are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Medical Secretary / PA. You will be a vital person at this Medical practice, as the first point of contact with patients and visitors you'll need to provide accurate information and offer excellent customer service. You will also be PA for the clinicians so calendar management and adhoc support will be required. This really is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Secretary / PA who is looking for their next challenge. The team currently working for this clinic are pretty amazing at what they do and they enjoy coming into work each day. This full-time role will see you working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm in Epsom

Duties Include:
arranging doctors? calendars and schedules, including booking in their consultations, appointments, meetings, professional trips and conferences arranging hospital admissions for patients creating clinic files containing patients' information along with medical records and providing these to the doctors upon patient consultants making sure that existing patient files are kept up-to-date collecting revenue by collecting and procuring third party payments plus monitoring account receivables ? facilitating collection calls and reminders if needed keeping all patients? files in a safe and secure place to ensure the upmost confidentially is kept at all times working with insurance companies to provide accurate medical records to facilitate claims and reimbursements understanding other pa / secretary roles to provide cover when applicable and also making sure there is sufficient information for others to cover your role if necessary discussing any clinic / theatre changes with the appropriate nursing staff contributing to improvement projects within your role or those of interest in the company proactively reporting health, safety and well-being issues any other administration activities requested by the practice manager to support the smooth-running of the medical practice to be considered you will have:
5 + years previous experience as a medical receptionist/secretary/pa experience medical terminology knowledge intermediate to advance ms office suite a fast typing speed with high accuracy great time management skills financial acumen high attention to detail excellent communication and relationship management skills flexible for a variety of tasks previous exposure to the health industry is a must nz citizenship or permanent residency the company are looking for someone who takes initiative, prides themselves in their work, remains calm under pressure and enjoys working as part of a small team. if this role suits your job experience and requirements plus, you are ready for the next exciting opportunity, please apply now, or email me - natalie. or, for further information about this job, please contact:
