40 hours per fortnight (0.5FTE)
An exciting opportunity for a Dietitian with a special interest in community &
population health has been implemented and will be part of the multidisciplinary Healthy Active Learning team at Hawke\ 's Bay District Health Board.
This position is fixed term period until December 2022 within our Child Health Team based at Napier Health Centre.
You will be working in school settings and Early Learning Services (ELS), supporting the development of healthy nutrition policies and guidelines. This position will include the provision of high quality dietetic assessment and intervention services to schools, kura, te kohanga reo, and other stakeholders working in those settings. In addition, you will provide safe and clinically effective assessments, inventions and advice to clients and their whanau.
This exciting opportunity will have you working closely with Public Health Nurses, Health Promoters and other education stakeholders and you will require the drive and enthusiasm to work within a population health environment.
